Spending The Weekend In Edinburgh Post Lockdown

Last weekend my family and I went off on a little adventure to Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh. It wasn’t our summer trip to Walt Disney World that we had originally planned, but Edinburgh is lovely and it was great to get away for a break from everyday life. My plan for the weekend was to spend most of our time outdoors visiting local spots, to have a socially distanced meet with our friends and to eat out at a couple of restaurants for the first time in four months.

AfterlightImage 29

AfterlightImage 30

Scotland is currently heading towards phase four on the recovery from Covid 19. Hotels, restaurants and some attractions have started to open with use of social distancing measures and masks now being a requirement when visiting shops. We had planned to drive the two and a half hour journey and had originally booked the Edinburgh Marriott on the outskirts of the city. We didn’t feel entirely comfortable using public transport each day, so decided upon a change of our hotel at the last minute to the Travelodge at Edinburgh Central, situated just off the Royal Mile. That way we could park in the hotel car park and make our way around the city on foot. The hotel had recently received a refurb and the room we stayed in felt brand new and was very clean. I took extra precautions to wipe all surfaces and touch points down with antibacterial wipes to put my mind at ease. We wore our masks when entering and exiting the hotel, as did the hotel staff. There was an antibacterial gel station positioned at the front door and we washed our hands with our own soap and antibacterial gel once we got back up to our room.

I feel very lucky to live in such a gorgeous country with so many beauty spots to visit. The first thing we did upon arriving in Edinburgh was to hike up Arthur’s Seat. Arthur’s Seat is an extinct volcano boasting breathtaking views that rises 822 feet above the city. It was quite a strenuous walk to the top, but very rewarding indeed. On our walk back to the hotel, we explored Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Scottish Parliament. Neither were open, but it was lovely to see them both none the less. After a quick shower and change, we went to dinner at Hard Rock Cafe, one of our favourite places to eat as a family. I would be lying if I said Kevin and I weren’t a little nervous about visiting a restaurant again with Quinn, but we had such a lovely experience and were well taken care of. We were greeted at the door by the manager who explained to us that we wouldn’t need to wear masks in the dining area, but would need to if we were to visit the shop. Our server took us to our table, where guitar picks were used to save any unnecessary trips to our table. Our food was delicious and we left very happy and very full!

The next morning, we started our day off with a Starbucks and a walk up the Royal Mile to Edinburgh Castle. It was unbelievably quiet with a lot of shops and restaurants remaining closed. We met our friends Kris and Jamie for brunch at Mimi’s bakehouseand I had the yummiest homemade macaroni and cheese with raspberry and lime soda. Quinn wanted to go on a Harry Potter adventure, so Jamie played tour guide on our tour around the city that started at The Elephant House Cafe – the birthplace of Harry Potter and finished in the colourful cobbled Victorian Street –  the inspiration behind Diagon Alley. We visited the “real” Ollivanders, Museum Context and Quinn looked the most adorable in his Ron Weasley jumper he chose out! After our magical experience, we headed to Princes Street Gardens for a rest. Quinn was desperate for us to eat dinner at Mamma’s American Pizza, a favourite of his, so we booked a table and made our way over to The Grassmarket. The fresh hand rolled pizza is delicious and as an added bonus, it was founded and ran by Y-Wing pilot Gold Leader in Star Wars:episode IV:A New Hope and Rogue One!

AfterlightImage 41

On the Sunday morning we took a trip to The Edinburgh Dungeon. Neither Kevin, Quinn or I had been and I was very excited to visit. We wore our masks throughout and I was picked on in almost every room by the live actors, which caused much hilarity within our group! Overall we had such a fun time learning some dark, underground history! We said our goodbyes before heading home, but not before one last magical stop at the Never Land play park in Kirriemuir. Not only is it our favourite place to visit in Scotland, but its the birthplace of Peter Pan author J.M Barrie and the small town is filled with magic and heritage!

Disney Skyliner – The Most Magical Flight On Earth

AfterlightImage 2

On our most recent trip to the Walt Disney World Resort we got to experience the Disney Skyliner for the very first time and I loved it! As we were staying at Pop Century, it was super convenient and became our main method of transport throughout our stay. Today I am going to talk about the Disney Skyliner and share my thoughts from our experience.

AfterlightImage 3

AfterlightImage 4

The Disney Skyliner is Walt Disney World’s newest method of transportation around the resort. The gondola system opened in September 2019 and runs within five stations connecting Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts, Caribbean Beach Resort, Riviera Resort, Hollywood Studios and Epcot. The Skyliner has three lines, the Epcot line, Hollywood Studios line and Art of Animation and Pop Century line. All three lines depart from the Caribbean Beach station. The Epcot line travels to the Riviera Resort before arriving at Epcot, the Hollywood Studios line travels directly to it’s destination and the third and final line, the Art of Animation and Pop Century line travels to the floating station between the two resorts.

AfterlightImage 5

Sounds confusing but the route is actually really simple. For example, if I wanted to take the Skyliner from Pop Century to Hollywood Studios, I would depart from the station between Pop and Art of Animation and would travel to Caribbean Beach. The Skyliner would disembark, I then would head to the Hollywood Studios line and that would take me directly to the park. Our room at Pop Century was in a prime location to get to the Skyliner Station and it took us just a few minutes to walk there. We love to park hop and found ourselves taking the Skyliner to or from the parks conveniently each day in a matter of minutes. We didn’t experience any delays during our trip and didn’t wait any longer than a few minutes to board our gondola, even at busy times.

AfterlightImage 6

Each gondola is brightly coloured and some feature much loved attractions, movies and Disney characters. My Little Peter Pan was overjoyed at getting to fly high above Walt Disney World in a Peter Pan themed gondola! When it’s quiet, you can have a gondola to yourself and I recommend asking for one with no design on it at least once, so you can take in the breathtaking views. There is no air conditioning, but it’s very breezy inside. The only thing I could say that I didn’t like about the gondola’s, is that the rain comes through the open vents pretty quickly when it’s raining. Not great for the hair ladies, but it’s no big deal though as you can just reach up and close the vents!

AfterlightImage 7

AfterlightImage 8

The Skyliner is a whole new experience and feels more like a ride rather than just a method of transportation! It’s definitely up there (pardon the pun!) with the Walt Disney World Monorail as my most favourite and fun way to get around the resort. I can’t wait to use the Skyliner again on our next trip and I’m holding out for a new line to Animal Kingdom or Magic Kingdom next!

Do you love the Disney Skyliner too? Let me know in the comments, I would love to hear your thoughts!

Five Reasons Why I Love The Supercalifragilistic Breakfast At 1900 Park Fare

When choosing to dine at the Walt Disney World resort, there are so many character breakfast options to choose from. A firm favourite for many years in my little family is the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and today I am going to tell you why!

AfterlightImage 3

AfterlightImage 4

1. Character Interaction

Having eaten at almost every character dining restaurant across the resort, the one that consistently stands out to us is 1900 Park Fare. The character interactions have always been a delight each time we have eaten there and set the mood for a magical day at Disney. Although character appearances are always subject to change, you can usually expect to see Mad Hatter and Alice, Tigger and Winnie the Pooh and Mary Poppins. Each character visits your table as you dine to chat, sign autographs and to take photographs. Quinn adores meeting characters and loves eating at 1900 Park Fare due to the fun and chaos they cause together! Over the years there has been so many memories made here from making insaniTea with Hatter and giggling so much you give yourself the hiccups, to running away from kisses with Alice. Maybe for us its the variety of characters combined,  but each breakfast experience has been filled with joy and laughter!

AfterlightImage 5

AfterlightImage 6

2. Character Photographs

As the characters move from table to table, I love that each meet is unique to them and the photos tell a story of the fun had that day! My Little Peter Pan loves to gift handmade stars to each character he meets, as for him it adds a little of his story to theirs. Sometimes it starts the conversation for him, or often he will gift a star to them as the meet comes to an end. Each day one of the characters meet with a Photopass photographer as you exit the restaurant. This allows a little more time for family pictures against a super cute backdrop. We have met Alice, Pooh and Tigger a few times here and each meet has been so memorable for both Quinn and I, with some lovely photos to take away with us.

AfterlightImage 7

AfterlightImage 8

3. Food

The Supercalifragilistic Breakfast is an all you care to enjoy buffet with so many yummy options including custom made omelettes, pastries, cereals and of course those all important Mickey Waffles. My favourite picks from the buffet would have to be the red velvet pancakes with cream, the croissants, bacon and those all important tater tots! The price of the breakfast is currently $26 for children aged 3 – 9 and $44 for adults, or 1 table service meal on the Disney Dining Plan. Gratuity is not included. Discount is available for Annual Passholders and DVC Members (10%) and Tables in Wonderland is also accepted at the restaurant (20%).

AfterlightImage 9

AfterlightImage 10

4. Atmosphere

I am biased as the Grand Floridian is my favourite resort on property, but I love the timeless, elegant theming of the restaurant and its surroundings. It’s classic Walt Disney World for me! The dining area is decorated in Victorian era flair and filled with pretty carousel horses. The restaurant is naturally bright and airy with it’s large glass doors, creating the perfect light for photos. A large concert organ built in France named “Big Bertha” takes pride of place towards the ceiling of the large dining room. It’s been a very long time since I heard it play, but it sounds so cute and reminds me very much of the Carrousel over in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom.

AfterlightImage 11

AfterlightImage 12

5. Location

The restaurant is conveniently located on the ground floor and is accessible from the front or back of the resort. It’s location is great if you are staying at a Monorail resort or  coming over from Magic Kingdom on the Monorail. The restaurant is also close to the boat dock if you are visiting by water taxi. If you have a reservation and are driving over to the resort, you can park for the duration of your breakfast by confirming your reservation with Disney Security at the gate. If you have a little time before or after breakfast, I would highly recommend a stroll around the resort and its perfectly landscaped garden and beach.

A Whirlwind Magical Stay At Disney’s Pop Century Resort

AfterlightImage 3

The whirlwind dream has ended! Our most recent Walt Disney World trip is over and we are back into routine and the cold, but we have taken a lifetime of new memories home with us! I say whirlwind as this was almost the trip that never was, but I am so thankful we could make it work as boy was it was a special one! This was our first non DVC trip in a while and our first trip in such a long time that didn’t include a split stay. It was also the shortest period of time we have stayed at Walt Disney World for, but we crammed so much in we didn’t feel like we missed out on any time at all!

AfterlightImage 4

AfterlightImage 5

We spent the duration of our stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort in a newly renovated room in the 60’s area. This was our little family’s second stay at Pop, the first being just after Hurricane Matthew in 2016 when funnily enough, we stayed in the same building, just a floor below! The location was very convenient indeed, being just a short walk from the main building, bus stop and the new Disney Skyliner station. We took great advantage of the Skyliner and used it everyday bar one during our stay. We also made good use of the resort bus times which are now available on My Disney Experience. We were able to shorten our wait time on the most part, by leaving the room when a bus was almost due. A great addition for sure!

AfterlightImage 6

AfterlightImage 7

The room looked great since its recent refurb and was bright, airy, roomy and clean. I loved the addition of the Mickey artwork and my Little Peter Pan loved the new pull down king sized bed. If you have read my recent posts you will know that Quinn has a thing for pull down beds, he loves them! I am so glad that Disney are implementing more of these into the resorts, as they are a real big space saver. There was plenty storage space available, a new small storage area next to the fridge and a huge TV, perfect to wake up to with resort TV playing in the background! The bathroom refurb brightened up the area significantly and definitely made it feel much more spacious with the new units and shelves. I also loved the addition of the glass shower doors apposed to the usual curtain.

The room refurb is definitely a wonderful addition to the resort and reiterates why Pop Century is our favourite value resort at Walt Disney World. Do you have a stay planned at Pop Century soon?

Walt Disney World Mobile Ordering Explained

One of the greatest recent changes to come to the Walt Disney World Resort is the ability to order and pay for your food ahead on the My Disney Experience mobile app. With most Quick Service restaurant locations now participating throughout the resort, you can now spend less time in line ordering and more time making those precious Disney memories! Today I’m going to talk about how you can place your order and the experience we had with mobile ordering on our most recent Walt Disney World tripWalt Disney World trip.

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

Although we love eating at table service locations throughout the resort, its not always feasible or time effective to eat at these restaurants on a daily basis. Often we enjoy taking food back to our room after a busy day, or eating lunch in the parks and that is where mobile ordering has saved us lots of vacation time indeed! During our stay at the Polynesian Resort, Captain Cooks participated in the service as well as Contempo Cafe at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and we took advantage of the mobile ordering at these locations every day. On every occasion apart from one, our order was ready within a minimal wait time. On the occasion that it wasn’t, we had to wait just as long as waiting in line to order would, but the restaurant was exceptionally busy and management at the location did apologise for the delay.

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

To start a mobile order, you first need to ensure that you have downloaded the My Disney Experience app to your mobile device, which can be found in the app store or Google store. Next you can either tap the + icon and select “Order Food”, or by selecting Dining in the drop down menu when using the map of the location you are in. From there, you can select the restaurant and tap on “Order Food”. The next page that opens up will allow you to build your order, listing the food and drinks available at that location. You can also customise certain menu items to your liking. Once you have selected your items, tap the basket icon at the top right of the page which takes you to your order summery. If you have a card linked to your My Disney Experience account it will show up here as a payment method, or you can add a new card as payment. Currently, you can only pay for your order using a credit card, debit card or Disney Dining Plan.

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

Once you arrive at the restaurant, tap on “I’m Here, Prepare My Order”. A notification will then be sent to the app when your food is ready to collect from the window and enjoy!

All this talk of Disney food is making me hungry for sure!

A Magical Surprise Stay At Disney’s Polynesian Resort

Processed with VSCO with e6 preset

Processed with VSCO with e6 preset

The biggest surprise of our last Walt Disney World trip was of course Quinn finding out about our stay at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. Today I’m going to talk about how we managed to keep it a surprise and what magical little treat was waiting for us at Orlando International Airport.

Processed with VSCO with e6 preset

Processed with VSCO with e6 preset

Our Little Peter Pan’s favourite resort is the Polynesian and last time we stayed there, he got sick and we spent two days in our hotel room. Not the best memory to have of your favourite place, so Kevin and I really wanted to make it up to him. We told him that we were going to stay at Pop Century, not a total lie as we were for the last two nights until we swapped it out for Grand Destino at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort!

Processed with VSCO with e6 preset

Processed with VSCO with e6 preset

As we were staying on the Monorail loop for most of our trip, we didn’t hire a car and booked Disney’s Magical Express to take us to the Polynesian. Our plan was to check in at the Magical Express desk and when we got in line, point out to Quinn that our bus wasn’t going to Pop Century but Polynesian instead!

Processed with VSCO with e6 preset

Processed with VSCO with e6 preset

Upon arrival at Orlando International Airport, we collected our luggage (after an hour delay due to lightening!) and made our way down to ground transportation. As we approached the desk Quinn called out to Boomer, a Minnie Van cast member who had driven us around Walt Disney World! He came over and gave us the best news, he was driving us straight to the Polynesian in his Minnie Van! We were all very surprised and extremely grateful! The Minnie Van Service Airport Shuttle picks up or drops off between Orlando International Airport and any Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

Processed with VSCO with e6 preset

Processed with VSCO with e6 preset

This was our first experience in a Minnie Van outwith Walt Disney World and it was magical! Boomer helped us with our bags, made us feel comfortable and best of all, was in on the surprise for Quinn! Inside the Minnie Van, Boomer put on the TV which was showing movie shorts for Quinn to watch. There was a selection of super cute Disney World books for us to read including It’s a Small World and Haunted Mansion. Snacks and drinks were plentiful and included a selection of coke products, Smart Water and Ghiradelli chocolates and candy. Boomer spoke about the upcoming attractions and what is new to the Walt Disney World Resort since our trip in January. Quinn’s little face was a picture when we pulled into the Polynesian and he discovered we were staying there! You can watch his reaction here and subscribe to my Youtube channel Pixie Planner to watch our current vlog series from the trip. A new video is uploaded each Sunday at 7pm UK time. We can’t thank Disney enough for gifting us this extra pixie dust to our trip!

In true Polynesian style we were greeted with some leis and stopped by the front desk to collect our Annual Pass Magicbands that had been delivered. Our room was located in the Pago Pago building which we love as its next to the pathway to the Transport and Ticket Centre making it easy to get back from the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. The new East Pool is right around the corner with the pool bar and soda machines which we use a lot. The DVC studio rooms in Polynesian are our favourite as a family as there is so much space and make us feel so comfortable. Quinn visited the Lava Pool and Kiki Tiki’s Splash Play, we ate dinner in Ohana’s and brought back a Captain Cook’s to our room each night. We had the most wonderful four night stay!

A Room With The Most Magical View At Bay Lake Tower

Processed with VSCO with e5 preset

Now that my Little Peter Pan is back off to school, I have a little more time to write about our wonderful experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort last month. Today I’m going to talk about our seven  night stay in Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, which included a Lake View and a Theme Park View Studio.

Processed with VSCO with e5 preset

Processed with VSCO with e5 preset

Bay Lake Tower is fastly becoming our little family’s favourite Disney Vacation Club Resort to stay at each trip and although it’s not one of our home resorts, I really hope it will become one in the future! Our stays are becoming much more frequent and we love it’s close proximity to Magic Kingdom and the ease of walking to and fro there. The views are second to none, if like me you could admire Cinderella Castle all day and take in the bustle of Seven Seas Lagoon. As if being located right next to your favourite theme park isn’t enough, its also the resort that Quinn’s favourite, the Monorail passes through and there’s also plenty of entertainment on offer.

Processed with VSCO with e5 preset Processed with VSCO with al1 preset

IMG_0168

On this trip, Quinn enjoyed taking a lot more time than usual to unwind in the Community Hall drawing, playing with the toys available and watching a Disney movie. We also took the time to experience table tennis, mini golf and some courtyard games out by the pool. Kevin and Quinn hired a Sea Raycer to explore Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon for an hour while I watched from the balcony which was wonderful. A little down time for me while the boys were having fun! We visited our favourite, Top of The World Lounge to watch Happily Ever After which was as magical as ever and as it was so hot, Quinn cooled down in the pool almost everyday.

IMG_0171

Processed with VSCO with al1 preset Processed with VSCO with e5 preset

For the first four nights we stayed in a Lake View Studio which was located on the eleventh floor of the inner rim. We requested a high floor and fell in love with our view of the pool, Bay Lake and the Orlando Skyline which lit up beautifully at night. The best part about our entire stay this trip was of course the Theme Park View Studio that we moved to from our fifth night onwards. Of course I cried as it was another Disney dream of mine to stay in a room with such a magical view!

Processed with VSCO with e5 preset

Processed with VSCO with e5 preset

Our room was located on the seventh floor, giving us views across Magic Kingdom, Seven Seas Lagoon, the Grand Floridian and Contemporary Resorts. Quinn spent our entire stay waving to the Monorail which was magic in itself! As well as taking in the sights of Magic Kingdom, we could also hear the sounds coming from Main Street, Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire and Move it! Shake it! MousekeDance it! Watching Happily Ever After from a different perspective on our balcony is an experience I will never forget and the best part of course was being able to tuck Quinn into bed a few minutes later!

Our Magical Gran Destino Tower Stay At Coronado Springs Resort

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

During our recent Walt Disney World visit, we were fortune enough to pick up a reservation at the newly opened Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs resort. We booked a club level room which provides access to Chronos Club and today I am going to talk about our wonderful stay there.

We had viewed various photos and videos from the opening on July 9th, but nothing prepared me for how blown away I was at the sight of this beautiful addition to the resort! The moderate feels every bit as much as a deluxe with it’s grandeur exterior that dominates the nearby skyline and it’s modern, elegant interior. If like me you love the smells of Disney, then waste no time and head straight to the Gran Destino lobby to check it out, it’s my new favourite!

The name Gran Destino and theme of the building comes from the animated short Destino, a collaboration with Walt Disney and Spanish artist Salvador Dali back in 1945. Financial pressures and World War II caused Destino to be added into the Disney vault for decades, only to be completed and finally released in 2003. A huge Walt and Mickey painting can be found in the Barcelona lounge and it is stunning!

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

Upon arrival we were greeted in the lobby and taken to the fifteenth floor by two lovely Cast Members. The lifts in the building are more than worth a mention as they work a little different to your average lift! The floor selection has to be chosen before you even step inside and when a lift is allocated, it takes you straight to your floor.

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

Our room wasn’t ready, so we headed straight to Chronos Club for some refreshments and snacks. The lounge is the perfect place to unwind after some time in the parks or to take in the panoramic views of Epcot, Disney Springs, Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land to name a few! The food and beverage offerings vary throughout the day from breakfast right through to desserts and cordials. A variety of snacks and a fridge filled with water, soda, beers and juice boxes are available for the duration of the day, as well as tea and coffee. Our little Peter Pan adored the kids play area which was filled with exciting Disney books, toys and games which all fitted in with the resorts theme.

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

The Cast Members were very friendly, attentive and made the greatest effort to make us feel as comfortable as possible. I would go as far to say that the Chronos Cast Members were the most magical we have experienced at any resort we have stayed in at the Walt Disney World resort! They acknowledged that we were celebrating Kevin’s birthday and also out tenth wedding anniversary and the three of us were surprised with some amazingly unexpected gifts!

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

We received an email via My Disney Experience to inform us that our room was ready. We were delighted to find out that we were situated on the fifteenth floor, the same floor as the Chronos Club which was extremly convenient for us. Our room was so fresh and new and absolutely beautiful! The bathroom was a great size and very well designed with two large sinks, a rain shower which we absolutley love and a separate area with a toilet. The room consisted of two queen size beds with lights built in to the headboard and provided us with the most comfortable sleeps we have ever had at a Disney World resort! There was an ample closet for storage and also plenty drawer space available.

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

One thing we were all excited about was Disney’s new Interactive TV. The TV is personalised to your Disney experience and offers lots of new options such as movies, bedtime stories for your little ones and you can also view your plans and Disney Photopass. The service is currently available at Gran Destino Tower and is expected to roll out across Walt Disney World in the coming years.

Processed with VSCO with e8 preset

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

The view from our room was every bit as incredible as the view from the lounge but even better, as in the distance you could see Cinderella Castle, Space Mountain and the Contemporary Resort as well as a spectacular view of Coronado Springs. As we were staying in a Club Level room, a turn down service is provided each evening. Quinn was delighted with this and saved his Disney Parks Ghiradelli chocolates to bring home with him!

Processed with VSCO with e3 preset

We have had two previous stays club level at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and although we enjoyed both, overall Gran Destino had a lot more to offer for our little family. I hope we can return again soon! Our vlog series from the trip has began over on my YouTube channel, check them out each Sunday!

Do you have an upcoming stay at Gran Destino? I would love to hear all about it!

My Disney Parks Style For Our Upcoming Walt Disney World Trip

With my little Peter Pan’s outfits all set to go, it was now my turn to pack for our Walt Disney World trip. I have a tendency to over pack, so for this trip I decided to set myself a challenge of only taking the minimal essentials. Mickey ears come under the essentials though right? And I couldn’t wait to pair my favourite ears with some new and old outfits. My Disney parks style is very girly, very pink but also very comfortable. I love to wear smock dresses and tulle skirts with t-shirts as they aren’t too heavy for spending your day in the humidity and in the heat that often feels like you are standing on the surface of the sun! Here are some of my favourite outfits that I am bringing with me this trip.

Processed with VSCO with e8 preset

I fell in love with this Asos dress as soon as I saw it and thought it would be perfect paired with these gorgeous Tinker Bell inspired ears that were gifted to me by the wonderful Enchanting Ears.

Processed with VSCO with e8 preset

I wanted something cute and colourful to match these adorable Dumbo inspired ears which were also gifted by Enchanting Ears and I was so happy to find this rainbow dress in New Look.

Processed with VSCO with e8 preset

I really love denim dresses and I can’t wait to wear this Primark dress and ears together on one of our Epcot days. The Spaceship Earth inspired ears and scrunch were both gifted by Enchanting Ears.

Processed with VSCO with e8 preset

Millennial Pink is my favourite colour of ears that the Disney parks has released recently and I thought this H&M skirt and Primark t-shirt would be cute to pair with them.

Processed with VSCO with e8 preset

I wore this outfit briefly on our last trip and loved it, so I decided to pack it again! The dress is from New Look, the t-shirt is from Primark and the ears were gifted by Ears for Days OC.

Processed with VSCO with e8 preset

I’ve had this Primark tee for a while now and have just never gotten round to wearing it. I thought it looked cute paired with this New Look denim skirt which is one of my favourite holiday skirts (I wear it all the time!) and the Disney Parks Potion Purple ears.

Processed with VSCO with e8 preset

These Mickey Mouse shorts are a Disney Parks staple for me. They are so comfortable and can be worn with just about anything! They were from Zara I have paired them with this Jasmine t-shirt I picked up in Primark as I loved it and the Disney Parks Millennial Pink ears.

Processed with VSCO with e8 preset

These Cinderella inspired ears were kindly gifted to me by Esposito ears and I love how they complete this cute little outfit! The skirt is by TU at Sainsbury’s and the t-shirt is from Primark.

Processed with VSCO with e8 preset

Last but not least, I chose to pack this Rapunzel inpired outfit. The top is from Red Bubble, the skirt is from Primark and I finished the outfit with these Disney Parks Potion Purple ears.

Do you have any wardrobe staples that you always pack for your Walt Disney World trips? I would love to hear all about your Disney Style!

Choosing Outfits For Our Next Walt Disney World Adventure

Our Walt Disney World trip is just right around the corner, so it was time for my little Peter Pan to pick out his fun outfits of choice! We needed to check what would still fit him and how many outfits he was planning on taking, because if I left it up to him he would take them all! It was a super hard task for him choosing, but I think we are organised now. As you may already know, he literally lives in his little Peter outfits, but he likes to twin with all his favourite characters whilst staying cool and comfortable. Quinn’s Fairy Godmother does an amazing job at creating exactly what he imagines and we also love outfits from Shop Disney UK. Today I’m going to talk about the outfits that are coming with us, some sadly for the last time as he’s always growing out of something, sob!

Little Peter Pan

Of course no Walt Disney World trip, or any place we visit really would be complete without Quinn’s forever favourite outfit! I don’t think there will ever come a day when he doesn’t love Peter with all his heart which is so lovely. He currently has two of these outfits that we are bringing with us and we have another two on order, as he wears them everyday of our trip! This outfit was created by his Fairy Godmother and the hat was handmade by the amazingly talented Magical Things.

Captain Hook

Quinn loves this silly codfish, its one of his favourite outfits of all time and I think he looks super cute! Captain Hook approves, as well as Smee and even Peter Pan himself! This outfit was created by Quinn’s Fairy Godmother and the hat was from Shop Disney UK.

Smee

This Disney Bound was brought together by Quinn himself and has been tweaked over the years with new t-shirts and shorts as he keeps growing out of them! He has a wonderful imagination and I’m always so happy when we can pull off a bound or outfit that he has planned. The t-shirt, hat and glasses from this outfit were from Amazon and the shorts were made by his Fairy Godmother.

Flynn Rider

Who could resist this smolder? It’s bound to make you smile right?! Quinn loves to twin with Flynn and of course visit Rapunzel wearing this. This outfit is a favourites of his and was created by his Fairy Godmother. It has fit him for such a long time and I hope he never grows out of it!

Prince Naveen

Or “fancy Naveen” as Quinn calls this outfit, is super cute and I love it! Naveen is currently his favourite Prince and for some reason it hasn’t had that much wear in the Disney parks, I believe he has only worn it twice. Quinn’s favourite part of this outfit is the cape and he can’t wait to flap it around when we arrive back! This outfit was made by his Fairy Godmother.

Naveen

This outfit Quinn calls his  “Jazzy Naveen” and he loves it as he can twin with Naveen as he “cuts a rug” on the castle stage! It’s another favourite of Quinn’s and has been ever since his Fairy Godmother created it for him.

Sheriff Woody

Quinn first wore a Woody outfit to the parks when he was tiny at his first ever Mickey’s not so scary Halloween Party, so it will always be precious to me seeing him dressed as his favourite cowboy! Quinn grew out of his last one, so this outfit is new from Shop Disney UK and the hat is from Walt Disney World.

Aladdin

Quinn is even more excited to twin as Aladdin after falling in love with the new live action movie! He hasn’t worn it to the parks for a while, so he wanted to bring it with us this trip. His Fairy Godmother created this one for him also and the lamp is from Shop Disney UK.

Snow’s Prince

Again Quinn loves this outfit due to the cape and the hat. Can you see a trend with the hats? He has always loved to wear a hat and play Prince to the fairest of them all. He has only worn this once to Storybook Dining with Snow White, so he is desperate to wear it again! Snow’s Prince was made by Quinn’s Fairy Godmother.

So those are the choices with the exception of a couple of outfits that will be waiting for him when we arrive. Do you have a favourite?

Now Quinn’s outfits are organised, I need to do the same with mine this coming week. I really enjoy pairing my outfits together with some Mickey Ears, but the packing not so much!
