Disney’s newly anticipated live action movie Dumbo flew in to cinemas worldwide this week. Quinn and I went on a Mother’s Day trip to the cinema this past Sunday and fell in love with Dumbo all over again. Tim Burton’s take on the 1941 classic keeps the Disney spirit, but adds a darker side to the storyline. We cried tears of happiness over the bond between Dumbo and his mother and of course sadness too. The strong message of family and friendship it gave reiterated why we love Disney so much and I can’t wait until its released on Blu Ray so we can watch it again.
